Was that with BLACKHOLE enabled in the current patch, or with the older patch and BLACKHOLE disabled?

First off, the machine has been running with blackhole disabled just fine for 19 hours now. Previous to upgrading to this release, it had a 220 day uptime running 2.1.12-2.6.26.6-200810131006. Nothing to write home about, but it does mean it was a stable platform.

I will try to schedule a downtime today and upgrade to the latest grsec patch, reenable blackhole, and report back to base.

Don't know if this is related:

sky2 eth0: hung mac 0:110 fifo 195 (143:138)
sky2 eth0: receiver hang detected
sky2 eth0: disabling interface
sky2 eth0: enabling interface
sky2 eth0: Link is up at 100 Mbps, full duplex, flow control both

haven't seen that before.

I don't think it's related: that's a particular message for your particular network card. There are numerous reports of people getting that message who are using vanilla kernels.

No panics here so far during 14 hours of uptime under intensive network load.

I concur. ~11 hours on two machines, no problems.

Thanks for the good work!
