Cannot start named on grsec kernel

Hello,

We tried upgrading the kernel to 2.4.26-grsec from 2.4.24. The kernel was upgraded but named could not be started.

Stopping named: /etc/rc.d/init.d/named: line 112: 17894 Segmentation fault
core dumped
[FAILED]
Starting named: [ OK ]

we are using Red Hat Linux release 7.3 (Valhalla) version. Can anyone please help me out. Thank in advance.

It might help if you give us some log entries or a backtrace. Check /var/log/messages or try starting named directly (not using init.d)
