Oops - gradm crashes machine!

I managed to crash my system today - a kernel oops - using 2.4.26 17th May CVS download. gradm shouldn't do this even if there is an error. I sent the details to Brad privately.
I have now traced the error as something really silly! I had forgotten to put in a default role.
