iptables+grsec

Im new to grsec, and i just installed the current grsec patch, but now my iptables are not work. I see the iptables patch but have been unsuccsesful in installing the iptables patch since there was no documentation on how to do so. could someone explain howto install that iptables patch. thanks.

go in the iptables directory
patch -p1 < grsecurity-1.2.8-iptables.patch
after compile and install it normaly.
