Kernel 2.6.32.60 Problem

Hi

Im trying to compile kernel 2.6.32.60 with grsec patch in "CentOS 6.3 x64" but unfortunately i wasn't be able to complete it yet , compilation of the vanilla kernel goes with no problems but when i patch the kernel i get the below error for "make modules" and it stops :

This was already fixed earlier this week. Let me know if you have the same problem with the latest patch.

Thanks for the fix .

Now there is a new problem .

"make modules_install" gives this error :

Hi,

That dmesg isn't from a grsec or PaX kernel, so the problem is with your userland and not grsec.

I've recompiled the kernel and now i get this error :

So you think this has nothing to do with grsec patch? , because when i compile the kernel without this patch im not getting any of these errors .

3 questions:

1. what does a vanilla kernel compilation look like?
2. what does modinfo /lib/modules/2.6.32.60-grsec/kernel/drivers/scsi/scsi_wait_scan.ko say?
3. are you using an initrd/initramfs? if yes, did you update it as well?

1. I've copied config file from /boot and did "make menuconfig" in both vanilla and patched kernels .

2. modinfo /lib/modules/2.6.32.60-grsec/kernel/drivers/scsi/scsi_wait_scan.ko

3. Yes im using initramfs and "make install" took care of it .
