Both patches for linux 3.5 cause my machine to restart right after it prints

Booting Node 0, Processors #1

The system boots fine with no grsec

My kernel files are here

HP Mini 311 Netboot
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N280 @ 1.66GHz

slackware 14.0 (actually -current right now)

The topic "i686 and grsecurity-2.2.0-2.6.35.8-201010311944.patch" from Nov 2 2010 looks similar to what I am seeing (reboots in the same place)
