Compile problem

Postby perlish » Tue Apr 19, 2011 12:07 pm

I use the latest grsecurity-2.2.2-2.6.32.38-201104190633.patch and can not compile.
But if I did not patch the kernel,it can compile well.

please open a new topic for new bugs. as for the compile error, can you upload your fs/exec.c somewhere (or just paste it here)?

perlish: I don't think you patched a 2.6.32.38 kernel with the grsecurity patch. I think you may have patched a 2.6.32.36 kernel. It should have been easy to see when applying the patch, as there would be a number of rejects during the process. I checked the code and it's correct no matter the kernel configuration.
