NetAPP .snapshot folders

After installing grsec kernel '.snapshot' folders are no longer accessible by users.. This is a special 'hidden' folder in every folder on exported volumes. With grsec it gives a 'operation not permitted' until the folder is access as root, then the user can see the contents as well.

Any suggestions?

You'll have to give me more information about the system. Are there any grsec logs reported? What's your kernel .config?

This actually seems to have been a problem with vserver. Rebuilt with grsec only patch and works fine.
