Which role to use to run daemon?

how daemons should be run? do i need to create a special role for it?
or only daemons, running as users need role?

here is my situation:

currently i have daemon(3dmd - 3ware raid monitoring) that runs as root. Should i add rules for this daemon to policy as subject process of root role or create new role for it ?
