can't boot with patch applied

Hello,

I applied the grsecurity-2.0.1-2.6.7.patch to my 2.6.7 kernel
and installed it with most security options checkked (except pax)
and now it won't boot with the message:
pivot_root: No such file
dev/console: No such file

I tried to disable chroot security options but this did not change anything

The kernel without the patch is ok.

Where can this problem come from ?
