NCurses Error (make menuconfig)

I keep getting this error when I try to run the menuconfig and finish installing grsecurity to my computer. I ran the kernel and the patches like the directions told me using the quickstart guide but I keep receiving this error can anyone please help me out on this.

are you saying that you get this error only with grsecurity applied or even without it? in any case, have you installed the ncurses library as the error message says?
