Whenever I install a grsec enabled kernel the fglrx-updates module "fails to build" and I have to fall back to the open source graphics.

Ubuntu 12.10 64bit.

edit: Looks like Wifi won't work either. Just doesn't connect. I feel like I've done something stsupid and removed drivers without realizing it...

what are the exact error messages during compilation?

I'll get that info in about a week, not by my Linux system.
