:o ok here's my first newbie question about grsecurity. I've compiled a 2.4.19 kernel with the 1.9.7 patch. I've disabled modules for this kernel, enabled sysctl and selected "high" for grsecurity.

The only "file" that appears under grsecurity in the /proc filesystem is acl. My understanding is that additional options should be available here. Am i missing something? For instance isn't there a way to lock grsecurity and prevent further use of administration mode?

Thanks.

selecting high security deselects the sysctl option. To get the sysctl option with high security, first enable the high security option, then choose customize. Then select the sysctl option.
