Is it really that much trouble to do
Code: Select all
bunzip2 <kernel-2.4.33.2-src.tar.bz2 | tar xf - && wget -O - http://www.grsecurity.net/grsecurity-2.1.9-2.4.33.2-200608231938.patch.gz | gunzip | patch -p0 || echo "Patch failed.  User intervention required."
? If you really have so little time that you cannot "waste" a bit checking whether the patch applies cleanly, perhaps you should just sit quietly until Spender announces that a patch is available (which he has since done, btw).

Perhaps we need a forum policy that such vague questions are ignored. I can see answering a question about whether the kernel is stable with a particular patch, but people ought to at least check whether the patch applies cleanly (and state their results!) when asking.
