Crashing problems with RedHat-based distros and 2.4 kernels

If you have experienced crashing with apps like bind and stunnel (among others) after switching to a 2.4 kernel (with or without grsecurity) on Fedora/RHEL/CentOS distros, your distro is at fault, not grsecurity.

Quite a timely troubleshooting tip - I've seen problems with native-threaded applications even with a grsec 2.6 series kernel: things like bind and privoxy. 9.2.x series bind was terrible (2 to 4 second delays on every DNS lookup), 9.3.x was better with only occasional trouble. Hopefully this NPTL tip will help...
