grsec: signal 11 sent to (pop3d:10325) ....

Hello,

I would like to seek assistance in resolving a problem concerning pop3d on a Mandrake Linux mail server. Essentially, whenever the above message pops up, we are unable to download mail from our mail server using the POP3 protocol. Once we reboot the mail server, we are again able to download mail using POP3. However, after a few hours, we again see the aforementioned message and are unable to download mail.

Here is the complete message:

grsec: signal 11 sent to (pop3d:10325) UID(76) EUID(76), parent (master:487) UID(76) EUID(76)

Will appreciate any help on this matter

you didn't tell us about your kernel/grsec version and configuration. also, it's hard to tell why pop3d is crashing without analyzing a coredump, so that'd be nice if you could get one.
