Grsecurity unstable?

Hey there,
Playing around with grsecurity:
grsecurity-2.1.1-2.4.29-200501231159.patch
To test out ACLs, and grsec behavior I've created a barebones test policy:
role test sN
subject / rvk
/ rwcdmlx
Under which I test ACL behavior. What's surprised me the most if how often I get a kernel oops, kernel panic. I admit I'm trying out some unusual ACLs rules just to test how grsec behaves itself, but I didn't expect this level of instability. Luckishly, I'm testing this out in a vmware guest, so resetting to a snapshot keeps me from endless reboots.
Is this a known problem?
Cheers,
Liraz
