Redhat 7.3 kernel 2.6.10-grsec
Posted: Wed Jan 12, 2005 5:13 pmThis has to qualify for being one of the most strange installations. I had to install module-utils 3.0 and create a symlink to modprobe (changed locations). I even got X to work (I cheated by doing a chpax -ps XFree86). Everything seems to be working fine. I'm elated because I really didn't expect such an easy switch between 2.4 and 2.6 kernels and it was Grsecurities' latest offering that caused me to play with it.
