2.6.30.4 boot problem

That was a mismerge, I've uploaded a new patch that corrects the issue and will hopefully prevent patch from misapplying that hunk again (since this isn't the first time it's happened).

grsecurity-2.1.14-2.6.30.4-200908021708 does now boot on a VM for me but still won't boot on bare metal for me (same freeze after PCI-Init)
2.6.30.4-vanilla works ok on both

I was using 200908011558?(I believe that is the correct version at the end). The latest patch, 200908021708, solves the issue...

hmm, spender says that your config boots on his machine so i guess it's a bug related to some specific driver maybe. can you try to log the boot with initcall_debug=1 to see what gets executed around the time it freezes?
