Worried about paxtest output

Postby infalible » Tue Feb 14, 2012 1:13 am

Hi,
I just built my first grsec kernel, and when I run the paxtest 0.9.9 version (http://grsecurity.net/~spender/paxtest-0.9.9.tgz), I get the following output. As you can see, it just stops after "Return to function (memcpy, PIE) : " but isn't it supposed to complete the test? Below is also parts of my kernel .config.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
P.

you should get an output for each test unless there's some unexpected failure somewhere (some tests trigger segfaults by design, but there's logic to report that). i guess the only way to find out is if you could debug the failing test(s) and see what goes wrong with reporting.
