Hard lock-up with 2.6.36.3

Postby moseleymark » Thu Jan 13, 2011 4:06 pm

With the 2.6.36.3 patch, I can boot up just fine and after boot-up, the system seems totally normal. However as soon as I do a 'gradm -E', the system completely locks up. There's no kernel trace printed to screen or to the logs. I've even tried just cat'ing /proc/kmsg but I don't get anything at all, the system is just gone. I'm 3000 miles remote though so I'm stuck with serial and there could possibly be something on-screen, but it seems like it couldn't make it past /proc/kmesg. This is 32-bit on a PowerEdge 850, Debian Lenny.
