grsec for kernel-2.4.25-8mdk

Postby Danytgv18 » Sun Sep 26, 2004 5:10 pm

Hello
I have a problem.I want to have kernel-2.4.25-8mdk compiled with grsec feature, but I can't find a grsecurity patch that works with 2.4.25-8mdk.With the grsecurity-1.9.14-2.4.25 patch if I'putt this in the begining and after I run 2.4.25-q8 the patches failed, and if I put grsecurity-1.9.14-2.4.25 after I run 2.4.25-q8 the grsecurity patch failed  Where I can't find a valid patch ?

Thank you very much!

grsecurity exists against the vanilla kernel only, everything else is up to someone else to provide. i don't recall having ever seen a port to mandrake's kernel, so don't have high hopes.

There is kernel-secure package, at least in cooker. But I didn't research whether it contains grsecurity.
