heyho, any comments on http://www.openwall.com/linux/linux-2.4.18-ow0.tar.gz ? :-)

I've emailed back and forth with Solar Designer. Our ports are basically exactly the same as his. He hasn't added anything new to his, and he hasn't tested it a great deal (he makes several other changes to the code besides the features in openwall).

are you gonna work together with him somehow? would be nice, I believe. no need for *both* ow and grsec... right?

Grsec uses PAX, and has some more features. OW for 2.4 is in a testing stage. And still some people prefer OW. It doesn't have a ACL for example, and you can use different kernel patches (that don't work with Grsec - capsel for example)
