Linux 2.4.33.4

Postby tuxq » Wed Nov 22, 2006 7:41 pm

Hey guys, it's been a very long while since I've posted in this forum. How's it going spender? Anyhow, I was curious if 2.4.33.4 has a special patch coming to it. My current e-mail is not signed up for the grsecurity mailing list (but will be after I post this) so I would have missed the announcement.

There's been a 2.4.33.4 patch in ~spender for a couple days now. I haven't heard any reports of any problems with the patch.

2.4.33.5

Great job... but...

... one day after You release patch to 2.4.33.4, kernel team release 2.4.33.5 kernel. Then I probably wait for patch for 33.5 (i hope not so long).

I've one more question: Are You planing any new patch to iptables ?? last patch is for 1.3.5, and iptables 1.3.7 its now available.

Just try and apply the patch for 2.4.33.4 to the 2.4.33.5 kernel... changes are so minor you have good chances it patches just fine.
