The .3 patch can be applied afterwards, however the programmer of grsec should first confirm that this does not cause any problems!

Posted: Mon Mar 21, 2005 10:47 amI think grsecurity should not contain any other patches! For me it's a horror-trip to patch my grsec-patched kernel with the patches for 2.6.11.3-5 
. - Some files are already patched, others not .
But: I would prefer if there are extra files with additional patches. Because then you can see, what patches are already applied and which are not.
So, in order to apply 2.6.11.5 you have to remove the following patches from patch-2.6.11.5:
-a/drivers/input/serio/i8042-x86ia64io.h
-a/drivers/md/raid6altivec.uc
-a/fs/eventpoll.c
